
Joseph S. Kim, DDS
Dr. Joseph Kim is a distinguished board-certified Implantologist and a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, he completed a post-doctoral General Practice Residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he gained advanced training in prosthodontics and surgery.
Dr. Kim’s career spans both academia and clinical practice. He served as a clinical instructor at the UCSF School of Dentistry and supervised residents at the Native American Health Center. Later, he provided surgical care to pediatric patients as an attending at the Central California Dental Surgery Center, an Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Currently, Dr. Kim owns and operates two private practices in Cupertino and Santa Cruz, CA. He actively leads local study clubs, mentors peer dentists, and conducts live surgical training sessions in partnership with Hiossen Implant, advancing the field of dental implantology through education and hands-on experience.
